Job summary

City of Bartlett's Public Works Department is seeking a Water/Wastewater Driver II to operate a variety of heavy equipment and support water and sewer maintenance projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required plus three years of experience operating construction equipment.
• Must pass background screen, driver’s license verification and physical exam including drug test.
• Must have valid Class B CDL with air brakes and tanker endorsement; FMCSA Clearinghouse registration required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, excavators, and loaders with skill and precision.
• Inspect and maintain equipment, perform basic repairs, and ensure safety of crew and public.
• Set up traffic barricades and assist with utility line work and pipe laying as directed.
