Job summary

The manager will supervise staff, manage project plans and budgets, and participate in safety and emergency planning initiatives to protect HCWA facilities and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or closely related field.
• Five years related experience and/or training in water/wastewater.
• Three years in planning and project management with two years supervisory experience; or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, evaluate the work of the engineering department staff and develop work plans to achieve goals.
• Oversee water and sewerage system drawings and perform technical reviews of designs.
• Supervise analysis and resolution of design issues in water distribution and wastewater systems.
• Evaluate sources of water pressure, fire flow, and water quality concerns; participate in field activities and data analysis.
• Coordinate plan reviews of engineered drawings for development projects to ensure compliance with HCWA standards.
