Job summary

Cognitioworld is seeking a summer full-time engineer-in-training to support planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater projects for public agencies in Denver. You will work with environmental science staff on interdisciplinary tasks and develop practical, client-focused solutions.

The role requires enrollment in environmental or civil engineering, strong communication, teamwork, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and GIS.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in environmental or civil engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge or experience with AutoCAD (or similar software) and/or GIS.
• Strong problem-solving and math skills.
