Job summary

Dewberry is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in our Denver, CO office. This internship offers hands-on project experience and exposure to cutting-edge technology within a leading professional services firm.

Responsibilities include assisting in water and wastewater system design, evaluating alternative technologies, and performing hydraulic modeling, calculations, and memos. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a B.S. in Civil, Environmental or related Engineering is required.
• Previous internship experience in a related field is strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Must be able to work in a team environment and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with designing water collection, storage and distribution systems as well as water treatment systems.
• Assist with designing wastewater collection and transmission systems.
• Provide support conducting alternative technology evaluations.
• Help with performing hydraulic modeling, prepare specifications and design calculations and prepare technical memoranda.
