Job summary

Kennedy Jenks invites ambitious students to join the 2027 Kickstart Internship Program in Ventura, CA. You will support project teams on water resources, water quality, wastewater and water treatment, including calculations, reports, and site visits.

The program offers mentorship, professional development, networking, and a hybrid work model with at least two days in the office; pay ranges from $21 to $26 per hour.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Civil Engineering; Environmental Engineering; Chemical Engineering; Related Engineering field
• Completion of a minimum of junior (third-year) standing in an accredited engineering program

Responsibilities

• Working on a variety of projects applying skills and calculations learned in school
• Managing ongoing projects and communicating with team members and clients
• Attending and contributing to client meetings
• Visiting project sites
• Receiving mentorship and advising
• Networking with employees and clients
