As an intern, you will assist with plans, calculations, and technical documents, using AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and visiting project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Rising sophomore to graduate student with interest in land development, infrastructure, or engineering design.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D or other engineering design software is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally to project sites, if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of plans, exhibits, reports, and construction documents.
• Support engineers with calculations, quantity estimates, and project analyses.
• Assist with the design and development of site, utility, drainage, grading, stormwater, and related land infrastructure.
• Conduct research and gather project data to support engineering studies and reports.
• Utilize engineering software, including AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office applications.
• Participate in project meetings and collaborate with engineers, planners, landscape architects, surveyors, and other professionals.
• Review plans, specifications, and permitting requirements.
• Participate in field visits and construction observations as needed.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
