Job summary

PRIME AE Group, Inc. is seeking an Intern – Engineering Water/Wastewater in Lexington, KY. This role is ideal for a motivated student pursuing Civil Engineering to gain hands-on experience supporting land development and infrastructure projects.

You will work alongside engineers and technical staff, contribute to planning, design, and construction processes, and gain exposure to site utility, drainage, and grading work across various markets.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Rising sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student with interest in land development or infrastructure.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other engineering design software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams with plans, exhibits, reports, and construction documents.
• Support engineers with technical calculations, quantity estimates, and analyses.
• Assist with design and development of site, utility, drainage, grading, and stormwater improvements.
• Conduct research and gather project data to support studies and reports.
• Utilize engineering software and office applications; participate in field visits as needed.
