Job summary

Qualifications

• Principles and practices of civil and utility engineering.
• Knowledge of water/wastewater construction and maintenance.
• Project management basics and familiarity with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing project plans, specifications, and estimates.
• Review completed engineering work for accuracy and compliance.
• Research technical information and revise design standards.
• Investigate field issues affecting property owners, contractors, and utility operations.
• Inspect workmanship and materials for conformance with City standards.
• Participate in data collection, surveys, and feasibility studies.
