Consor Engineers in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Water/Wastewater Treatment Engineer (PE) to lead and deliver municipal treatment projects. You will evaluate needs, craft process‑driven solutions, and produce high‑quality technical deliverables while mentoring juniors.

The role offers technical leadership, client engagement, and a collaborative culture. A PE license and 4+ years in treatment are required; a Masters is preferred and a hybrid office/field work environment is expected.

Qualifications

4+ years of progressive experience in water and/or wastewater treatment engineering.
Familiarity with treatment process modeling, permitting, and regulatory coordination.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a closely related engineering discipline.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Strong technical writing, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and support planning, design, and evaluation of water and wastewater facilities.
Develop and review engineering design packages, including PFDs, plans, specs, and memos.
Prepare reports, feasibility studies, master plans, and permitting documentation.
Perform process calculations for filtration, disinfection, biological treatment, and more.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated treatment solutions.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance throughout projects.
