Job summary

Consor in Austin, TX seeks a Professional Engineer to design and analyze water and wastewater infrastructure. You’ll own design tasks, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with standards and client expectations while developing leadership skills.

Responsibilities include preparing design plans for pipelines, pump stations, and treatment systems; performing hydraulic modeling; and supporting project managers with cost estimates and quality control throughout project

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 4+ years of water and wastewater engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• AutoCAD & Civil 3D proficiency is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review design plans, calculations, and technical documentation for pipelines, pump stations, and treatment systems.
• Apply engineering standards and design codes to ensure technical accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling, flow analysis, and system evaluations to support design and planning decisions.
• Coordinate design efforts across internal teams, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies.
• Support project managers with technical input, cost estimating, and quality control reviews throughout project development.
