Job summary

Consor Engineers in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Water/Wastewater Treatment Engineer (PE) to lead design, delivery, and technical leadership for municipal water and wastewater facilities. You will evaluate treatment needs, develop process-driven solutions, prepare technical deliverables, and mentor junior staff in a collaborative, growth-focused culture that values stability and career development.

The role requires a PE license, 4+ years of experience, and strong communication skills to coordinate

Qualifications

4+ years of progressive experience in water and/or wastewater treatment engineering.
Familiarity with treatment process modeling, permitting, and regulatory coordination.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a closely related engineering discipline.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Strong technical writing, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, design, and evaluation of water and wastewater treatment facilities.
Develop and review engineering design packages, including process flow diagrams, plans, specifications, and technical memoranda.
Prepare engineering reports, feasibility studies, master plans, and permitting documentation.
Perform process calculations and evaluations for treatment systems such as filtration, disinfection, biological treatment, solids handling, and odor control.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated treatment solutions.
Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and quality assurance throughout project delivery.
