Job summary

STV Incorporated in Oklahoma City is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join the Water Practice Group. You will participate in the full project cycle from design through construction close-out, performing design tasks and supporting project teams on water and wastewater facilities and pipelines.

The ideal candidate has a ABET-accredited degree, 5+ years of relevant experience, and an Oklahoma PE license, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum 5 years of water/wastewater design experience.
• OK Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience with municipalities and utility companies; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce contract documents including plans and specifications.
• Perform hydraulic flow and pressure calculations for pipelines.
• Develop pump curves and system curves for sizing equipment.
• Prepare construction and design cost estimates.
• Support project management, client interface, and business development.
• Make site visits during design and construction.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for design compliance.
