Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water/Wastewater EIT/Coordinator to join our Missouri-based team. You will help design water and wastewater systems under guidance from a Project Engineer, contributing to safe drinking water and sustainable infrastructure.

This role emphasizes BIM workflows (Revit, Civil 3D) and quality control, with collaboration across disciplines. A Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and an EIT certificate are preferred; growth toward licensure is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
• Interest or experience analyzing and designing water-focused systems
• Experience with BIM systems, numerical modeling platforms, and other production tools

Responsibilities

• Create detailed designs of water and wastewater treatment systems and collection and distribution systems under instruction from the Project Engineer
• Prepare plans for water and wastewater systems, write specifications, analysis and study-level reports for water and wastewater treatment, distribution and collection systems, determine appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection, and work directly with the owner
• Conduct quality control reviews of completed designs.
• Perform other duties as needed
