Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water/Wastewater Designer/EIT to develop detailed designs for water and wastewater systems. The role supports project engineers, prepares plans and reports, and conducts design quality reviews within HDR's employee-owned culture.

Local EIT may advance toward career progression, with a preference for local candidates. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, experience with water/wastewater facilities, and proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
• Interest or experience designing water/wastewater treatment facilities.
• AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience.
• Microsoft Office experience.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed designs of water and wastewater treatment and collection systems under instruction from the Project Engineer.
• Prepare plans, write specifications, and analysis reports for water/wastewater systems.
• Conduct quality control reviews of completed designs.
• Perform other duties as needed.
