HDR is seeking a Water/Wastewater Designer/EIT to join our Water Business Group in Virginia. You will create detailed designs for water and wastewater systems under supervision, prepare plans and write specs, and collaborate with project engineers to support resilient infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
• Interest or experience designing water/wastewater treatment facilities.
• AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience.
• Microsoft Office experience.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Active participation in an employee-owned culture is expected.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed designs of water and wastewater systems under instruction from the Project Engineer.
• Prepare plans, write specifications, and analysis reports for water/wastewater projects and determine design methods and equipment sizing.
• Conduct quality control reviews of completed designs.
• Perform other duties as needed.
