Job summary
Arcadis is seeking a Project Engineer (Water/Wastewater Infrastructure Design) to join our Resilience Water Team in Southern California. You will independently manage design and construction tasks for water/wastewater systems, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, and develop technical documents to support project success.
The role requires 6 years in municipal water engineering, a civil/environmental/mechanical degree, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling
Qualifications
- 6 years of experience in engineering and consulting, primarily related to the municipal water market.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or related field.
- Experience leading engineering tasks and coordinating multidisciplinary design teams.
- Strong technical writing, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, hydraulic modeling software, and Bluebeam.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage design and construction of Water/Wastewater distribution/collection systems, pump/lift stations, and/or treatment plants.
- Develop design and construction documents, such as reports, memos, and specifications.
- Support construction administration and ensure processes align with guidelines.
- Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to achieve project objectives.
- Occasional local travel for project site visits and client meetings.
