Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Project Water/Wastewater Pipeline Engineer to join our Water Business Line in Southern California. In this role you will lead and support the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater pipeline projects for municipal, utility, and private sector clients.

You will develop alignments, perform hydraulic calculations, and prepare detailed design drawings and specifications for water, sewer, and recycled water pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering (or related discipline).
• 6+ years of relevant experience in the design and delivery of water and/or wastewater pipeline projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in California, or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design and delivery of water and wastewater pipeline projects, including feasibility studies, design, and construction support.
• Develop alignments, perform hydraulic calculations, and prepare detailed design drawings and specifications for water, sewer, and recycled water pipelines.
• Act as technical point of contact for clients; attend meetings; support business development; ensure deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
