Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–10 years of experience delivering planning and design solutions for municipal water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Strong experience with municipal water and wastewater systems design.
• Proven ability to prepare plans, specifications, reports, and design calculations.
• Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including pump stations, storage systems, pipelines, and related utility improvements.
• Prepare or oversee engineering reports, technical specifications, construction drawings, and cost estimates.
• Manage projects through design and provide support during bidding and construction phases.
• Support design oversight and quality control for project deliverables.
• Support permitting and regulatory compliance for municipal water and wastewater projects.
• Participate in client meetings, proposal development, and business development efforts.
• Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning.
