AH Engineering Consultants is seeking a Water/Wastewater Design Engineer to join our team for municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This position supports planning and design across facilities, pipelines, and related utilities, with collaboration from clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates will have 2–10 years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, and strong knowledge of applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 2–10 years of water/wastewater design experience.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations.
• Proven ability to prepare plans, specifications, and reports.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Prepare or oversee engineering reports, specifications, drawings, and estimates.
• Manage projects through design and provide support during bidding and construction.
• Coordinate with clients, regulators, subconsultants, and internal teams.
• Assist with permitting and regulatory compliance for municipal projects.
• Participate in client meetings, proposals, and business development.
• Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning.
