Job summary

Earles Engineering & Inspection (EEI), a Pittsburg, KS-based firm, seeks a Civil Engineer focused on water and wastewater design to join our team working on municipal projects across Kansas.

You will develop designs, plans, and specifications, interact with community leaders, and gain hands-on ownership on projects with growth opportunities.

Candidates with a Bachelor's in civil engineering and 2–10 years' experience; PE license is a plus but not required; Autodesk Civil 3D experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
• 2–10 years of civil engineering experience with water/wastewater focus.
• PE license is a plus but not required.
• Experience with Civil 3D is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop municipal water and wastewater systems (waterlines, sewers, lift stations, treatment facilities).
• Prepare drainage studies, storm sewer designs, and detention layouts.
• Prepare reports, plans, and specifications for municipal clients.
• Interact with community leaders and staff regularly.
