• Autodesk Civil 3D experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfort presenting to community leaders and staff.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop municipal water and wastewater systems, including waterlines, sanitary sewers, lift stations, and treatment facilities/lagoons
• Prepare drainage studies, storm sewer designs, and detention pond layouts
• Support street and highway design projects as needed
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, plans, and specifications for municipal clients
• Assist in client management, including regular communication with community leaders and staff
• Coordinate with project managers and senior engineers on project scheduling, budgets, and deliverables

Position Overview

EEI is seeking a Civil Engineer with a focus on water and wastewater design to join our growing team. This role will work directly with communities on municipal water, sewer, and drainage projects - developing designs, preparing plans and specifications, and communicating regularly with community leaders and staff.
