Job summary

Engineering Enterprises, Inc. (EEI) seeks an organized, detail-oriented engineer to join its Water Group in Sugar Grove, Illinois. The role focuses on planning, design, and construction projects for water supply, treatment, and wastewater systems, with opportunities to work on I/I studies.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of design/construction experience, a Civil Engineering degree, and a PE license, plus strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 5–7 years of design and construction experience on water and wastewater systems.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Engineering Enterprises, Inc. (EEI) is seeking an organized, detailed oriented, highly motivated engineer to work in its Water Group. The Water Group has a significant backlog of projects, including a variety of planning, design, and construction projects involving water supply, water treatment, wastewater conveyance, wastewater treatment and Infiltration and Inflow (I/I) studies. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication, project collaboration and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Participate on project teams


• Report to a group’s Project Manager and high-level management


• Prepare water and wastewater system reports


• Design water supply, water treatment, pump stations and wastewater treatment facilities


• Provide construction phase engineering services for water and wastewater projects

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering


• Have a minimum of five (5) – seven (7) years of design and construction engineering experience on water and wastewater systems


• Be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE)


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• A valid driver’s license
