Engineering Enterprises, Inc. (EEI) seeks an organized, detail-oriented engineer to join the Water Group in Itasca, IL.

The role supports planning, design, reporting, and construction oversight on water and wastewater projects, working under project managers and senior staff. Ideal candidates hold a civil engineering degree with 0–4 years of design/construction experience and an EIT or ability to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Entry level to 4 years of design and construction engineering experience on water/wastewater projects.
• EIT certification or ability to secure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to align with EEI’s mission and core values.

Responsibilities

• Participating on project teams as needed for a variety of projects.
• Providing support for planning, design and reporting on water/wastewater projects.
• Providing construction oversight on water/wastewater projects.
• Providing construction management on water/wastewater projects.
