Job summary

Engineering Enterprises, Inc. (EEI) in Itasca, IL seeks an organized civil engineer to join the Water Group. You will work on planning, design, and construction projects for water supply, water treatment, and wastewater systems, collaborating with project teams to deliver reports and studies.

Candidates should hold a Civil Engineering degree, 5–7 years of design/construction experience, and be a licensed PE. Strong communication, teamwork, and a drive to align with EEI's mission are essential.

Engineering Enterprises, Inc. (EEI) is seeking an organized, detailed oriented, highly motivated engineer to work in its Water Group. The Water Group has a significant backlog of projects, including a variety of planning, design, and construction projects involving water supply, water treatment, wastewater conveyance, wastewater treatment and Infiltration and Inflow (I/I) studies. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication, project collaboration and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Participate on project teams


• Report to a group’s Project Manager and high-level management


• Prepare water and wastewater system reports


• Design water supply, water treatment, pump stations and wastewater treatment facilities


• Provide construction phase engineering services for water and wastewater projects

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering


• Have a minimum of five (5) – seven (7) years of design and construction engineering experience on water and wastewater systems


• Be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE)


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• A valid driver’s license
