Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers is seeking a Civil Engineer to contribute to planning, design, analysis, and delivery of water/wastewater infrastructure projects under a P.E. guidance.

This role includes coordinating with project managers, clients, and cross-discipline teams to ensure quality and timely outcomes. The candidate should have an ABET-accredited degree, EIT certification, and at least two years of civil engineering experience, with strong communication and mentoring abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional engineering experience.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT/EI) certification.
• Ability to apply engineering principles and design standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform planning, design, and analysis tasks per codes and standards with minimal revision.
• Prepare calculations and deliverables (reports, drawings, specs, cost estimates).
• Evaluate design alternatives and document assumptions and decisions.
• Coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams for project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers.
