Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers is seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, oversee execution, and cultivate strong client relationships.

Requirements include a Civil Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program, a licensed P.E., and at least seven years of project leadership experience in water systems. You will mentor staff and uphold QA/QC standards across the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
• Minimum 7 years of experience managing water and wastewater projects.
• Strong knowledge of design and construction for waterlines, storage tanks, pump stations, and wastewater systems.
• Proven leadership, mentorship, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Lead design teams in engineering reports, calculations, permitting documents, and presentations.
• Prepare and negotiate proposals, contracts, and client agreements.
• Develop responses to RFQs, solicitations, and bond applications for utility district and public sector clients.
• Attend client, municipal, and board meetings to present project progress and provide technical expertise.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, public agencies, and community leaders.
• Support the technical and professional development of team members.
• Contribute to company-wide design standards, QA/QC processes, and best practices.
