Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional engineering experience.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT/EI) certification.
• Working knowledge of engineering principles, design standards, and applicable codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering planning, design, and analysis tasks in accordance with codes, standards, and regulations.
• Prepare engineering calculations and technical deliverables.
• Evaluate design alternatives and recommend solutions to support project objectives.
• Coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
• Participate in quality control/quality assurance practices.
• Manage assigned tasks, meet deadlines, and work under supervision.
• Support planning and design of water distribution and wastewater systems.
• Prepare technical documentation and permitting support materials.
• Support utility coordination and right-of-entry exhibits as applicable.
