Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree required.
• EIT/EI certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of professional engineering experience.
• Experience in planning, design, and analysis of water distribution and wastewater systems preferred.
• Proficiency with engineering software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines under supervision.
• Office-based with periodic fieldwork, site visits, or agency coordination.
• Mon-Fri 8am–5pm with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform planning, design, and analysis tasks per codes and standards.
• Prepare calculations and technical deliverables with clear documentation.
• Evaluate design options and recommend solutions to meet project objectives.
• Coordinate with project managers, teams, and stakeholders to support delivery.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and designers for quality outcomes.
• Participate in quality control and assurance for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage assigned tasks, meet deadlines, and take ownership of project portions.
• Support water distribution and wastewater layout design and supporting calculations.
• Prepare permit materials and technical documentation for public infrastructure improvements.
• Assist with coordination activities such as utility conflicts and easement exhibits.
