Job summary

L7 Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee upgrades to water and wastewater treatment facilities in the Melbourne, FL area.

The role requires strong knowledge of piping, mechanical, and concrete work specific to the water/wastewater industry, with focus on safety, quality, schedule, and cost control. The Superintendent will provide daily onsite leadership, supervise field personnel, and ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent professional experience accepted.
• Strong knowledge of water/wastewater systems, treatment plants, and construction processes.
• Proven track record of managing projects on schedule and within budget.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with field teams, clients, and subcontractors.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and make decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage construction projects focused on water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Teach and train others on-site.
• Efficient communication with vendors and subcontractors.
• Detail oriented, responsible for driving construction projects to completion.
• Ensure safety guidelines and protocols are followed on site.
• Oversee daily operations and project documentation.
• Lead meetings and manage project budgets and deadlines.
• Resolve issues to keep projects on track.
• Additional duties as assigned.
