Job description

An experienced Project Superintendent with a background in water and wastewater construction is sought for projects in the Central Florida area. This position is responsible for the overall direction and daily supervision of all jobsite field personnel on assigned water and wastewater treatment plant and pipeline construction projects.

Base Pay Range

$100,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure all safety policies are properly enforced
  • Ensure project quality standards are met or exceeded
  • Develop and manage short‑term schedules, including manpower and equipment resources
  • Coordinate permits and regulatory inspections
  • Manage field documentation, including daily reports
  • Capture and maintain progress photographs
  • Oversee material handling, including receiving, inventory, storage, and spare parts
  • Coordinate subcontractor activities
  • Hire jobsite personnel as needed
  • Maintain and update as‑built drawings
  • Participate in post‑construction reviews
  • Manage small tools and equipment
  • Interpret and apply contract documents
  • Ensure jobsite security
  • Complete projects within established schedules and budgets
  • Provide accurate and timely quantity reporting and timekeeping
  • Identify and communicate scope changes to project management
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite
Qualifications
  • Proven experience supervising water or wastewater construction projects
  • Experience managing craft labor and self‑performing work preferred
  • Hands‑on experience with cast‑in‑place concrete, piping, and mechanical equipment
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Current training as a Competent Person in trenching, scaffolds, rigging, confined space, and fall protection
  • Current certifications in OSHA 10‑hour, First Aid & CPR, SWPPP inspection, silica awareness, risk management, and accident prevention
  • Track record of successfully completing multi‑million‑dollar construction projects
