Job summary

MWH Constructors is seeking a qualified Project Safety Manager to support water, wastewater, and treatment plant projects from our Phoenix, AZ office with travel to Las Vegas, NV. You will lead safety programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive事故 prevention across municipal and industrial sites.

The role requires guiding operations, mentoring safety staff, and delivering training while coordinating with clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience on a construction site.
• 4-year safety/health or engineering/science degree.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and NFPA/NIOSH/ANSI standards.
• Able to lead and mentor safety staff.
• Experience managing direct reports.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency with Windows and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Guide Operations in safety operations and regulatory compliance.
• Manage project safety compliance and goals.
• Create safe work areas and oversee risk controls.
• Review project risks and implement mitigations.
• Conduct site inspections and drive corrective actions.
• Supervise safety professionals and training.
• Develop and deliver safety training resources.
• Develop exposure control plans and IH sampling guidance.
