Job summary

McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. is seeking a Water Project Manager to lead field operations on water and wastewater projects ranging from $20M to $300M.

You will drive safety, schedule, cost control, and team development on site, ensuring quality execution and on-time delivery. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering and at least 10 years of experience on water or wastewater projects, with self-perform experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in highly complex water or industrial construction projects.
• Direct experience on water or wastewater treatment construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead project in field with accountability for safety, financial performance, and team development.
• Develop Project Contract status reports and project charts of accounts in collaboration with Estimating and Project Director.
• Coordinate with Project Superintendent on site logistics and project plans.
• Oversee pay requests and monitor project costs and job cost reports.
• Analyze quarterly Total Cost Projection reports and ensure effective training for staff.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and owners to reflect McCarthy core values.
