Job summary

Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, seeks a Civil Engineer/Construction Manager to lead capital projects across our footprint. You will partner with Engineering and Operations to plan, budget, and supervise construction, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Travel up to 50% may be required as projects span multiple sites. Strong communication with officials, customers, and vendors is essential for project success.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Minimum five years of construction experience including estimating, bidding, progress payments, change orders, inspections and closeout.
• PA DEP Class E Distribution License or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor annual capital improvement plans and budgets.
• Oversee construction to meet budget and schedule.
• Coordinate projects with multiple departments, contractors and vendors.
• Assist with permit applications at local, state and federal levels.
• Meet with officials and customers to promote projects and resolve concerns.
• Manage procurement and payments; oversee inspectors on several projects.
• Promote a positive safety culture and follow safety policies on site.
• Utilize Procore and SAP daily for project tasks.
