Job summary
Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP in Austin, TX is seeking an entry level Civil Engineer to join the Water/Wastewater group. Responsibilities include water and sewer modelling, facility evaluation, design and construction administration.
Ideal candidate holds a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, ABET accredited, with internship experience; familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, MicroStation, and water/wastewater software; strong communication skills.
Qualifications
- ABET-accredited B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
- 0–4 years water/wastewater design experience.
- Knowledge of water and wastewater facilities incl. pipelines, pumping and treatment.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, Bentley MicroStation a plus.
- Relevant internship experience required for new graduates.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- F.E./EIT preferred.
Responsibilities
- Water and wastewater modelling and facility evaluation.
- Design and construction administration for water/wastewater projects.
- Collaborate with the Water/Wastewater group and communicate findings clearly.
