Job summary

Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP in Richmond, VA seeks an entry-level Water/Wastewater Engineer to support water and sewer modeling, facility evaluation, design, and construction administration.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (ABET accredited) with up to 4 years of related experience, and familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and Bentley MicroStation. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (ABET accredited)
• 0-4 years of water/wastewater design experience
• Experience with water and wastewater facilities design including pipelines, pumping systems, and treatment systems
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, Bentley MicroStation and water distribution and sewer modeling software a plus
• Relevant internship experience required for new graduates
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to work cooperatively with others
• Passing grade on the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam or EIT preferred
