Job summary

Responsibilities include developing construction plans, cost estimates, and reports, reviewing submittals, and supporting project meetings and field inspections.

Qualifications

• PE license or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Experience with water/wastewater design and municipal infrastructure.
• Experience with design and construction documents and CAD.
• Experience with permitting and construction administration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering designs for water distribution and wastewater systems.
• Perform engineering calculations for pipelines, grading, and drainage.
• Coordinate with surveyors, geotechnical engineers, and permitting agencies.
• Develop construction plans, profiles, specs, and reports.
• Prepare cost estimates and engineer's opinions of probable construction cost.
• Support permitting activities with local, state, and federal agencies.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and contractor requests.
• Participate in construction meetings and field inspections.
• Coordinate with CAD designers to produce construction documents.
• Verify compliance with standards and maintain project schedules.
