Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Panama City Beach, FL office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join the Water/Wastewater and Utilities team. This role focuses on design, project management, and collaboration with clients and regulators.

You will work on pumping stations, treatment facilities, and transmission systems, lead project tasks, mentor staff, and ensure quality across drawings while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant engineering design experience.
• Ability to obtain a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license within 12 months.
• Municipal water/wastewater design experience including pump stations and treatment facilities.
• Experience with hydraulic modeling using WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, or InfoWater.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design water transmission and distribution systems and pumping stations.
• Manage project tasks, design, permitting, and client communication.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external clients.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of drawings and reviews.
