Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Sherman, Texas office is seeking engineering graduates with 1+ years of experience to join our Water/Wastewater team. This is not a remote position, and you will contribute to the design of water transmission systems, pumping stations, and treatment facilities.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, gain on-the-job and formal training, and have opportunities to advance while delivering high-quality plans and meeting client deadlines.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of civil engineering design experience
• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• Assist in design of water transmission and distribution systems, pumping stations, and water treatment facilities
• Contribute to municipal water and wastewater projects
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to complete projects
• Maintain high-quality plans and review peers' work
• Participate in on-the-job and formal training with mentorship
