Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer in the San Francisco area is seeking an Asset Management Project Manager to lead asset management programs for water and wastewater facilities, with responsibilities across the San Francisco, Concord, and Sacramento offices.

You will set strategy, win work, and guide multi-disciplinary teams to deliver data-driven recommendations, including CMMS/EAM selections (Maximo, Infor, SAP PM, Cityworks) and BI dashboards, while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial/Systems Engineering or related field; PE license required
• 15+ years of asset management experience with risk, levels of service, and lifecycle frameworks for water/wastewater utilities
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex consulting projects and build trusted client relationships
• Track record leading pursuits and proposals across regional and national efforts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient with Microsoft 365 and data tools; Power BI and GIS experience a strong plus
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, including presenting to utility boards and mentoring junior analysts

Responsibilities

• Own projects end-to-end, driving scope, schedule, budget, and quality across multi-disciplinary teams
• Shape strategy and win work by pursuing opportunities and guiding proposals
• Define the technical roadmap for AM programs, including data analysis and lifecycle modeling
• Advance technology through CMMS/EAM selections and BI dashboards that turn data into decisions
• Represent Hazen and Sawyer in industry organizations and publish thought leadership
• Develop the next generation by mentoring junior staff
