Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer seeks an Asset Management Project Manager for our San Francisco, Concord, and Sacramento offices. You will lead asset management programs, drive strategy, and manage multi-disciplinary teams delivering water/wastewater solutions.

In this pivotal role you will implement ISO 55000 principles, IAM standards, and US EPA best practices, while mentoring staff and supporting business development in the West Region.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial/Systems Engineering; PE license required.
• 15+ years of asset management experience in water/wastewater utilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex consulting projects and build trusted client relationships.
• Track record in business development across regional and national efforts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency with MS 365 and data tools; Power BI; GIS is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead asset management projects end-to-end as Project Manager; drive scope, schedule, budget and quality.
• Shape strategy and win work; lead opportunities while contributing to regional and national efforts.
• Define the technical roadmap for AM programs including data analysis and lifecycle modeling.
• Guide CMMS/EAM selections and build BI dashboards and data tools for decision making.
• Represent Hazen at professional organizations and mentor junior staff.
