Job summary

Arcadis seeks an Area Manager and Business Growth Leader to drive organic growth in the Tennessee and Alabama water markets. Based in the region, you will lead strategy implementation, oversee client relationships, and coordinate with other Arcadis leaders to expand the portfolio of municipal water, wastewater and stormwater projects.

You will mentor a high-performing team, manage backlogs, and ensure project delivery while aligning with corporate goals. Travel up to 30% is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in water/wastewater/stormwater project management or related.
• BS in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical).
• P.E. license or ability to obtain in 6 months.
• Preferred: MS degree or MBA/MPA and PMP certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead Tennessee and Alabama water business growth strategy and client account teams.
• Oversee planning, design, and construction of water infrastructure projects.
• Mentor and coach staff; hire, onboard, and manage performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Arcadis teams to develop solutions.
• Travel up to 30% for site visits, meetings, and reviews.
