The Town of Eagle is seeking a Distribution and Collection Technician at multiple levels to maintain and operate water and wastewater systems in Eagle, CO. This full-time, non-exempt role offers hands-on field work, on-call duties, and ongoing training and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain Water Distribution Class 1 within one year of hire.
• Must obtain Wastewater Collection Class 1 within one year of hire.
• Ability to work outdoors and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
• Fix water leaks, hydrants, and valves to keep systems running.
• Perform utility locates and inspections for safety and compliance.
• Respond to emergency repairs such as water main breaks and sewer backups.
• Operate jetting equipment and maintain pump stations.
• Read and maintain the town’s residential and commercial water meters.
• Assist with snow removal, events, and on-call emergencies.
• Collaborate with contractors, residents, and town departments.
• On-call rotation including evenings and weekends.
