Job summary

The Town of Eagle is hiring a Distribution and Collection Technician Trainee and progression path to Technician I–IV. This on-site role conducts water distribution and wastewater collection work, with training and certification opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Colorado Driver’s License.
• Must obtain Water Distribution Class 1 and Wastewater Collection Class 1 within one year.
• Training provided with no prior experience required for Trainee.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate water distribution and wastewater collection systems across the town.
• Fix water leaks, sewer issues, hydrants, and valves to keep Eagle running smoothly.
• Perform utility locates and inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Respond to emergency repairs like water main breaks and sewer backups.
• Operate specialized equipment for jetting wastewater lines and maintaining pump stations.
