Qualifications

• Three years of full-time experience in water distribution maintenance.
• SWRCB Water Distribution Operator Grade 3 (D3) certificate required.
• Valid California Class C driver license is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the water distribution system, meters, and non-potable water system components.
• Locate and repair water leaks; replace inoperative piping sections as needed.
• Perform meter testing, calibration, and routine preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Coordinate map corrections with GIS staff and manage 811 tickets and customer coordination.
