The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Michigan CDL with endorsements, and an S-4 Operator’s License within 36 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL with proper endorsements; insurability per city standards.
• Two years’ experience in servicing public utilities.
• S-4 Operator’s License required within 36 months.
• Current S-4 holders must have license (apply with).

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of water and sewer lines and appurtenances.
• Install, test, and repair City water meters, pressure reducing valves and appurtenances.
• Handle customer complaints concerning water usage and read water meters when needed.
• Operate a variety of automotive, powerdriven and construction equipment safely and efficiently.
