Job summary

Nexus Water Group in Fairbanks, AK seeks a Project Manager Operations to lead water distribution, water treatment, wastewater collection and treatment projects. You will coordinate daily activities, plan capital projects, manage budgets, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field and 6+ years in utilities; valid driver's license. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential to deliver on time

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering or related discipline.
• At least 6+ years of relevant experience in utilities, water, wastewater, and/or infrastructure.
• Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
• Moderate to extensive knowledge of water and wastewater administration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities and personnel for each project.
• Provide project support: estimate costs, bids, assign equipment and schedule work, and track budgets.
• Work with leadership on long- and short-term capital planning and maintenance plans.
• Create and maintain activity and progress reports for internal and external customers.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal requirements, guidelines and certifications.
• Support safety culture and provide safety direction as needed.
• May provide operations leadership and management as assigned.
