Job summary

Nexus Water Group is seeking a Project Manager to support water and wastewater utilities projects primarily in Florida. You will coordinate, organize and control project activities, ensuring milestones, budgets, and quality are met. Based in Altamonte Springs with some travel.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years engineering experience in water/wastewater and a Bachelor’s in Civil/Environmental Engineering. MS/MBA and PE are a plus; SAP knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years engineering experience, preferably related to water and/or wastewater projects and design.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or similar field required; license a plus.
• MS or MBA preferred; PE preferred; SAP knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex water and wastewater construction project plans from initiation to closure, adhering to milestones and deadlines.
• Creates and maintains activity and progress reports for internal and external customers.
• Responsible for all project development and management.
• Manage Construction Inspections and coordinate with operations.
• Obtain engineering proposals, monitor budgets, and coordinate timing with stakeholders.
• Track budgeted hours and expenses and report accordingly.
• Coordinate daily activities and personnel for each project.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and records.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering
