The City of Pasadena is seeking a Utility Maintenance Technician I to perform skilled maintenance on water storage sites, valves, pumps, and meters. You will work with a team to complete daily and weekly tasks, including mowing around tanks and fences, and occasional fence repair and painting.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, plus 1–3 years of related experience, a valid Texas driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a Class C Groundwater License.

Formación

• Requires high school diploma or GED, plus 1-3 years related experience or training.
• Experience in construction trades such as concrete work, pipe work, electrical and general labor.
• Valid Texas driver's license and good driving record.
• Obtain Class C Groundwater License.

Responsabilidades

• Perform manual, skilled maintenance on water equipment, lines and meters.
• Work with a team on daily and weekly maintenance of water storage sites.
• Mow and trim around tanks and fences; repair fences and paint pipes/buildings.
• Maintain licenses, certifications, clearances, and follow attendance policy.
• Other duties as assigned.
