Job Summary

The Water Truck Operator operates or tends machinery equipped with scoops, shovels, or buckets, to excavate and load loose materials. Operates construction equipment, such as cranes, power shovels, scrapers, paving machines, motor graders, trench-digging machines, conveyors, bulldozers, dredges, pumps, compressors, and pneumatic tools.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Operate a 6x6 water truck for construction purposes
• Transport materials and equipment to and from construction sites
• Operate the truck on rough terrain
• Maintain the truck in good working condition
• Perform routine maintenance on the truck, such as oil changes and tire rotations
• Report any mechanical issues to the supervisor
