Job summary

Quikrete – Aggregates is seeking a Water Truck Driver to support dirt and paving crews across multiple project locations in Avondale, AZ. You will operate water trucks safely, maintain hydration for the crew, and help control dust on dusty sites.

Responsibilities include pre-shift inspections, using sprinkling attachments, following OSHA guidelines, and coordinating with forepersons to ensure water is available where needed. Prior tanker endorsement is required.

Qualifications

• Tanker endorsement required.
• Clean MVR required.
• Experience in construction industry helpful.

This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of Water Trucks. Drivers will deliver water to dirt crews. Paving crews and pit areas for dust control and grade work. This is a great opportunity for new drivers to get an understanding of the layout of a construction site..

About the Role

Responsibilities:

• Must partner with crew members to make water available on jobsites for refilling equipment as instructed by foreperson
• Driver will use sprinkling attachment to spray water on roadways in order to control dust
• Driver will use maps navigation for gaudiness in locating job sites in many different location’s
• Properly follow all company policies and OSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment
• Perform daily pre-shift inspection followed with submission of a report for any repairs needed DVR
• Inspection of equipment and safety items required at the end of each shift DVR

About You
